ATELIERS CULINAIRES - Cooking workshops in an informal setting
Come join us in our kitchen for a day immersed in the culinary arts. Learn how to cook delicious food in small groups of 4-6 people, exploring a wide variety of recipes.
After an intensive professional training at Ferrandi Paris and an internship at a renowned restaurant in Paris, Sujatha has accumulated the skills to work efficiently and creatively in the kitchen. Her hope is to share some of these skills with fellow food enthusiasts during these workshops.
We are starting off our ateliers culinaires with Indian cuisine. We offer three different workshops in which you will learn how to create Indian favourites using in-season produce. We will explore the use of spices, basic cooking techniques and how to bring it all together on the plate.
All workshops are one day events (9.30am to 3pm). Everything you need for the course (knives, aprons, cutting boards, etc) will be provided for.
We will meet at 9.30am in the kitchen and discuss the plan for the day over coffee. The dishes will then be split up between the participants who will head into the kitchen to start cooking. We will round off our day with a leisurely lunch to enjoy the results of our efforts.
You will get to take home the printed instructions and recipes and we hope that you will go home relaxed, satisfied and with the know-how to whip up a flavoursome Indian meal.
